What role themes play.
In WordPress, themes are installable files that determine and change the way the website will look and appear to viewers, which includes its overall appearance, layout, colors, and the pages structure. Themes are very important and an integral part of web development in WordPress, due to themes not altering any important code while still being able to change the websites look and layout of the website in whichever way the user prefers. I personally find themes in WordPress to be very important for web development within this software, as it helps change an otherwise basic and plain looking website into something more eye catching and can also help format the website in a way that further enhances the websites readability.
